Food allergies are becoming more and more common among
children in our world today. As a byproduct of our increasing reliance on
pesticides and other chemical compounds, more individuals than ever are living

in traditional holiday dishes. Additionally, consider vegan options for people
with gluten and dairy allergies. If a child has a nut allergy, certain vegan

2. Communicate
Try and open up dialogue with everyone attending the
Christmas celebration before they arrive. This way, you’ll have plenty of time
to peruse different vegan and allergy-free recipes before the big day. The
worst part of having allergies during the holiday season is having to take a
backseat while everyone else enjoys the delicious treats and food at your
fingertips.
3. Talk to Educators
Remember, the holidays are happening at school, too. Kids
will be bringing in desserts filled with allergies multiple days before
Christmas. If your child has a severe allergy, be sure to let the school know and recommend some vegan alternatives they can send
around to parents in an email.
